Lauri Waddell, Personal Coach

[Click twice to listen]

“A phenomenal QUANTUM success. I don’t care WHERE individuals are in life, the Zap experience will help anyone to the next level of success.”

Lauri Waddell is a high energy real estate investor, personal coach, mentor, trainer and speaker living in Westfield, Indiana. She holds a college Associate Degree in Nursing, and has also taken real estate educational training, and certification as a coach with the Coach Training Alliance.

Lauri’s Goal
Lauri’s original Zap Reality Challenge goal was to get her first book published and sold on the general market. “I have ALWAYS dreamed of becoming a published author with my OWN speaking tour that evolves around my book,” she says. “I have been very passionate about that – but life goes on and the “DAY” job always seemed to come first.

“Authoring a book and getting published was something that was stored ‘in the back of my mind.’ I felt it was too selfish a goal because it may take away from other priorities in my schedule that benefited others and my family.”

Her Challenge
“I have always been a very accomplished, independent and successful woman. I have created million dollar companies and mentored other individuals to HUGE success,” Lauri explains. “What I had never conquered was my own worst enemies – MY ANTs!”

Lauri recalls her childhood as “often challenging.” And her initial high-end score of ‘7’ on the Zap Worry Scale (10 = highest amount of worry) confirmed her feeling about the impact of ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts) on her life. “My ANTs were probably the biggest item holding me back,” she admits.

Laurie Began to “Stomp” Her ANTs
As an accomplished personal development coach, Lauri immediately began to apply the Zap concept to her own life.

“As I learned to take control of my emotions, feelings and thoughts, ANTs were less and less annoying,” she explains. “I learned how to conquer them quickly, easily, efficiently and successfully. It’s as if they are being literally ‘stomped’ out. I now know this is new neuro-pathways forming, and I am actually experiencing the success of the training. But to actually experience it vs. learn or read about it is absolutely amazing and powerful.” (By the end of the Zap experience Lauri reduced her score on the Zap Worry Scale to the zero worries ‘1’ level.)

“I now know my success and self concept is not dependent upon others’ thoughts or feelings toward me,” Lauri says. “I am in control of my own thoughts and feelings. Situations that have made me feel less valued as a child have actually created a stronger and more independent woman. I am thankful and happy with who I am, and how I came to be where I am in life. I now totally have my ANTs under control, and share this marvelous strategy with those I coach and train,” she says.

“My level self-confidence has also changed drastically. My ANTs were literally making me feel very small and ‘beat up.’ Now I am truly as confident inside as I appear on the outside. I am a Christian and I used to struggle with confidence vs. pride. In tackling my ANTs I learned that it was not a fear of pridefulness that kept me from being confident, but my own ANTs.  Now I can feel confidence and I know it is not from pridefulness, but from a total acceptance of who I am, who God made me to be, and an acceptance of what I have experienced that has brought me to where I am today. And I LIKE that!”

“My self-discipline has also changed,” Lauri explains. “I am a very hyper and energetic person who gets bored very easily. The Zap course focus training was very valuable. I have expanded this method into all areas of my life, and it has been a phenomenal experience. I find myself more organized and accomplished with my new ability to focus so clearly, and I am able to release stress and tension quickly with the training we experienced.”

Her Goal is Achieved
Like every participant in the Zap course, Lauri refined her goal to make it more achievable. “As I moved into this as a Zap course,” she recalls, “I discovered that putting a proposal together was the key first element. So I changed my immediate goal to getting my proposal together and sending it out to 100 publishers. The ZAP coursework absolutely enabled me to take a quantum leap,” Lauri says. “I achieved my goal… I AM the person that goal belongs to!”

“Following Dr Jill’s strategies of just a few minutes of focused action was amazing. Plus she ‘gave’ me permission to work on something that I was passionate about that was not going to create money right now, or provide any immediate business opportunities. (I’m an entrepreneur at heart).”

“Learning how to conquer my ANTS and giving myself permission to take just a few minutes out of an already jam packed day to work on something I was passionately excited about but not an immediate ‘Return On Investment’ was a phenomenal QUANTUM success.  I don’t care WHERE individuals are in life, the Zap success training will help anyone to the next level of success.”

Bob Kurchock, retired MBA

[Click twice to listen]

“My quantum leap is that I am enjoying life in the now!  I no longer sweat the small stuff.”

Robert (Bob) Kurchock is a 66 years-young man living in Kendall Park, New Jersey. A retired MBA, Bob has a long history of personal development training, including: Dale Carnegie, Toastmasters, Personal Power and Get The Edge with Tony Robbins, and the Multi-Marketing University with Hilton Johnson.

He also completed programs on Selling By Attraction, The Magic Power of Questions, Recruiting Machine, Leadership Coaching, and The New Lead The Field Seminar with Bob Proctor, The Prospecting Mastery Course with Max Steingart, Wealth Beyond Reason with Bob Doyle, and Les Brown’s It’s Not Over Until You Win, Choosing Your Future and Bringing Out The Millionaire In You.

Bob’s Search for a Goal
Selecting and committing to a realistic goal is at the very core of the Zap success process. Now retired after 40 intense years in the business world, Bob’s initial goal was to research and select an opportunity he could create a home-based business around. But as he progressed through the course, his goal shifted closer and closer to his true passion.

Bob’s analysis of the change in his goal is revealing: “My original goal was associated with overcoming past failures by finally making money in the home-based business arena,” he reflects. “But Dr Jill’s ideas and concepts afforded me the opportunity to re-evaluate my current life, and focus instead on enhancing my personal life. My Zap realization first and foremost is to focus is on maintaining a healthy, happy and enjoyable fourth quarter of my life.”

“As a result,” he explains, “I changed my initial business goal to a personal goal of ‘Enhancing my personal happiness, self-confidence and excellent health through my personal commitment for taking daily quantum actions using all available resources for successfully improving my body, mind and soul’.”

What Bob Experienced
It’s evident from all the courses Bob took that he is one of those people with a passion for personal growth. Still his original score on the Zap Personal Traits Exercise was only 53%, indicating a significant gap between Bob’s ‘ideal’ self vs. his perceived ‘actual’ self. Still, Bob initially rated his own self-concept as a ‘7’ out of 10 (highest).

At the end of the Zap course his Zap Personal Traits Exercise score had soared to 78% – solidly in the range of those whose ‘ideal self’ matches their ‘perceived real self,’ and are living very close to their full potential. His post-course self-concept rating rose from his initial ‘7’ to a top-level ‘9.’  “I feel the change is due to…applying what I learned in the ZAP Process,” Bob says. “My self-concept has improved because I have a more practical and objective understanding of myself.”

"I have also been able to minimize my challenging childhood by focusing on my happiness in the now,” he explains, “and by not allowing past and current life challenges to affect me, and not letting any of my past ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts) and work experiences impact my current life.”

Bob previously tended to worry and have some negative emotions, and had an initial extremely high ‘9’ on a scale of 10 on the Zap Worry Scale. This had fallen to a very healthy low of ‘4’ by the end of the course. When asked what he attributes the change to, Bob explains: “I worry less because I now realize that focusing on real retirement from my 40+ intense years in the information technology field is the best choice for achieving personal happiness.”

His Current Outlook
Bob Kurchock has made several healthy choices supporting his new focus. “I am no longer interested in repeating my previous fanatical actions towards applying self discipline,” he explains.

The outcome of Bob’s NEW goal choice? “Today, it is more pleasing in my ‘now state’ to just enjoy my life void of unnecessary self-discipline,” Bob says. “I am more self-confident now that my focus is on my personal happiness and having fun!”

Bob has also experienced a major improvement in his ability to manage stress. As a result of his decision during the Zap course to focus on a healthy, enjoyable retirement  rather than starting a new business, Bob tells us: “My only current stresses in my life are now associated with overcoming poor golf shots, and improving my putting during a round of golf!”

“Dr. Jill has provided me with the guidance, mentoring, motivational support and incentives for accomplishing my goal as well as my future goals,” he explains. “Most importantly, the Zap Challenge allowed me to focus on my own accountability for taking my personal life to new and exciting quantum life-changing levels.”

“My quantum leap is that I am enjoying life in the now!
I no longer sweat the small stuff!  I sleep better each the night and look forward to the new and existing challenges that each new day offers! I am ten pounds away from attaining my most optimum and athletic health! My goal is to ZAP the remaining weight off my body!”

At the end of the Zap Reality Challenge experience Bob made the following statement: “I will always use the ‘ZAP Your Life’ references as an essential part of my foundation for establishing my new goals! And I plan to periodically review the ZAP resources to eliminate focusing on my negative childhood experiences.”

Monika Thoma, Entrepeneur

[Click twice to listen]

“I have stopped jumping between many half-developed goals… (and am now) moving forward in the direction I really want for my life.”

Monika Thoma is a 40’s woman residing in Ingolstadt, Germany. A mother and a university graduate, Monika spearheads her own online business as a freelance web copywriter and communications strategist. She is also the founder and president of a local women's entrepreneurs’ network, and a member of the board of a local marketing club associated with Germany’s biggest organization for marketing professionals.

Her Goal
Monika’s original Zap Reality Challenge goal was “to be an online-publisher whose portal for women entrepreneurs has at least 1000 subscribers, and a word artist working successfully with Jenny Holzer.”

Monika immediately realized this was not just one goal, but several. (This is a very common mistake people make while setting goals). She tightened up her goal to: “By the end of the Zap course I will have a detailed action plan to build the biggest online community for German-speaking women entrepreneurs.”

Her Initial Challenge
“I always doubted and procrastinated,” Monika recalls, “and part of my efforts were ineffective because I tended to jump between many half-developed goals.” Interestingly, although an accomplished net worker and entrepreneur, Monika initially described herself as a “long-time procrastinator.” She scored an initial rather low 38% on the Zap Personal Traits Exercise, indicating she was likely overly critical of herself.

Monika’s Changes
“I previously tended to worry and have ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts), she says. “At the beginning of the course my worry score was a pretty high ‘8.’ But the end of the course my new score has been reduced to ‘4.’ I worry less now because I gained the confidence that I (or the Tao) can fix anything I'm worrying about, or at least cope with it. That's because I can now name my inner goal, what I'm dreaming about, and then go for it.”

“I no longer regard myself as a failure. I have learned that failure is a necessary step towards success. I diminished my fear of failure, and do not let it keep me from at least trying what I really want to.”

“This insight has erased previous feelings of being unfulfilled and hopeless. Probably the most important insight I gained was that I can allow myself to define a goal to its fullest, because I now know its fulfillment is possible. I have stopped jumping between many half-developed goals,” she reflects.

“I have now installed new beliefs which I'm working on: I'm worth living a life that's funny, fulfilling, wealthy and worthy. Oh yes, and there are people who do like me.”

At the End of the Challenge...
Monika’s final score on the Zap Personal Traits Exercise was a very high 80% -- placing her solidly in the range of living to her full potential. “The change is due to gaining the confidence I can live a happier life by first knowing what I want… then reaching a goal or not, but moving forward in the direction I really want for my life,” she explains.

Even her previous tendency to procrastinate is now under control. “This has improved because I now know so much more about how the brain works, and I now practice making commitments with myself and keeping them,” she says. “And my level self-confidence has of course changed. I no longer feel like a failure (which I never was). And I now have confidence I can successfully take responsibility for myself and my life.”

“I have achieved my goal and much more. You bet I’ve become the person my goal belongs to. I'm confident I will reach the goal, and I have this outcome in my mind from the very beginning, even at the moment when I set the goal. During the Zap Challenge I found it great how people coped with events I formerly would have labeled as a ‘failure,’ and I learned that a ‘failure’ really isn't failure at all! The ZAP Reality Challenge definitively enabled me to take a quantum leap!”

Cindy Rossetti, Actuarial Consultant

[Click twice to listen]

“Taught me what it means to set a goal and go after it with fervent anticipation it will happen….”

Cindy Rossetti is a 50’s woman living in Southborough, Mass. She is a university graduate with a BS in Geography, and is employed as a professional Actuarial Consultant. Cindy is a self-starter dedicated to independent education, and completed both a certification course in her profession, and extensive internal programs provided by the companies for which she has worked.

Her Personal Challenges
“My childhood was fairly supportive,” Cindy recalls. “I had a good upbringing, and look back on my childhood with great fondness. However my parents grew up during the Depression, and were very reserved when it came to spending money. As a result I have ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts) centered around money.”

Cindy quickly realized that those ANTs were “what is keeping me from being at the income level I feel I deserve. “I used to worry incessantly about money,” she recalls. “I would get a lump in my throat every time I sat down to pay my bills, and would focus on the balance of my bank account going down.”

Her Goal
Cindy had a difficult time coming up with a goal in the beginning of the Zap Reality Challenge. “I knew I wanted my life to change,” she recounts, “but I thought that getting what I really wanted depended on my husband’s job and income taking off.
Then I decided that I wanted to get my house painted and my yard landscaped so
that everything looked nice. And then I wanted to throw my son a big party before he headed off to college.”

But then a dramatic synchronicity occurred. Cindy read the story in Zap Your Life about a man who had been passed over for a well-deserved promotion, but then took hold of that painful event and made a radical change in his life.

Interestingly, the very same thing then happened to Cindy in real life. She recalled the story and lit up. “I decided I’d had enough of being passed over for a promotion,” she recalls, “I decided to take charge of my situation. So my new Zap goal became to get a new job, a promotion and a raise.”

Her Process
Cindy’s initial score on the Zap Self-Concept Rating was only ‘4,’ indicating a major gap between who she wished to be, and who she actually felt she was. This score rose dramatically during the course to a very healthy post-course final score of ‘8,’ indicating a very high correspondence to her “ideal” self and her perceived “actual” self.  “I was letting external factors dictate my life,” Cindy reveals. “I made a decision that I needed to take charge of my life. I am now working towards getting a new job with a promotion and a raise. Just the act of doing this has empowered me.”

“My self discipline has improved greatly, and my self-confidence has improved as well,” she continues. “I used to feel like a victim, but I now know that I have the power to take charge and change my situation, as long as I decide to change and commit to it.
I feel much better about myself and my future.”

Cindy’s Final Outcome
“For the first time in a number of years, I feel empowered,” Cindy smiles. “I feel like I can tackle any obstacle. It’s a nice feeling. The Zap course taught me what it means to set a goal and go after it with fervent anticipation that it will happen if I stick to it. Dr Jill also taught me that it’s okay to adjust or completely transform my goal along the way. This doesn’t mean I failed at the first attempt.”

Regarding her previous ANTs around money, Cindy now says: “Now I realize that I am causing that exact thing to happen because of where my focus lies. Although these worries are not completely gone (they are really deep-seated), I am moving away from that mental image and focusing instead on money coming into my account.”

“I now know I have the power to transform my life as soon as I take charge of my beliefs and vow to change them. This is what goal-setting helps to achieve. It instills a sense of determination. I now believe there is nothing more potent than a person on a mission who is driven by passion,” Cindy stresses. “I do feel like the person my goal belongs to.”

Vicki Standish, Energy Practitioner

[Click twice to listen]

“I now do things more spontaneously… following my intuition without analyzing too long.”

Vicki Standish is a 50’s woman living in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She holds a university BA and MPhil, and also diplomas in Occupational Therapy and Management. A highly trained Energy Practitioner, Vicki is a Reiki Master, an IET Master/Instructor, a Quantum-Touch practitioner and instructor, and a Bio-field Therapist and Reflexologist.

Vicki’s Goal
As a participant in the premium level of the Zap course (the Zap Reality Challenge), Vicki participated in weekly live coaching calls with the course developer, Dr Jill. But it was a few weeks into the course before she revealed her goal to create a new business providing intuitive readings. The other participants immediately stepped in with encouragement.

Vicki’s goal was to give a “paid, accurate psychic reading” before the end of the course. “I have wanted to achieve this goal for sometime. But when I previously went for it, ANTs (Automatic negative Thoughts) set in and destroyed my confidence,” she recalls.

She Tackles Some Childhood Memories
Vicki’s original Zap Personal Traits score was 48%, indicating a probable tendency to be overly critical of herself. “I tended to take my achievements for granted, seeing them as nothing special,” she recalls. “I also felt uncomfortable if people said anything about my being an ‘expert.’ I think this was fear of being found ‘wanting’ or not meeting the expectations of others, with the result of then feeling like a fraud.”

Vicki describes her childhood experiences as falling between somewhat challenging and fairly supportive. “But looking back on my childhood after the Zap experience, I NOW see that actually it equipped me with the abilities I’ve needed to cope well with my life. As a military wife I have faced numerous moves, changes of friends and jobs, and no immediate family living nearby. I’ve had to be self reliant, independent, hard working, adaptable, creative, and able to deal with challenges. If my childhood had been more supportive, I may not have developed this level of self reliance.”

And she discovered yet another important “positive” re-interpretation of what was certainly painful as a child. “Being frequently told I was stupid as a child was probably a driving force behind taking my university degrees and numerous other courses. These were done while moving and having kids and working -- not an easy task. The Zap course not only helped me to recognise this, but also helped finally accept and acknowledge my achievements.”

Her Goal Unfolds
Vicki’s Zap Personal Traits score soared to 73% following her Zap training – solidly in the range of one having good self esteem. “I feel the change in my personal traits score is partly due to my willingness to be more honest about my own abilities, and to recognise that I already have some of the traits I wished for,” Cindy reflects. “Doing the Zap Course has also helped me develop techniques to calm the negative, and to better focus on the positive and reduce my fear.”

“I previously tended to worry and have ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts) or negative emotions,” she says, “but I now have them much more under control. I recognise them and work quickly to eliminate them… and I’ve also passed this onto my clients,” she says.

Before when Vicki tried to commit to her desire to give paid psychic readings, she ran straight into a wall: “I have wanted to achieve this goal for sometime, but when I previously went for it, ANTs set in and destroyed my confidence,” she recalls. “A similar thing started to happen during the Zap challenge, but this time I saw the pattern and challenged it. I have certainly moved toward becoming the person that goal belongs to. I now feel comfortable thinking of myself as someone who would do this for a living.”

My self-concept has improved because I now have the courage to acknowledge my own abilities, to really see what I have already achieved, and to compare myself more realistically with others,” she says. ”I now take on tasks I would normally have avoided, I speak up when I would probably previously have remained silent, and in the last workshop I taught (only 2 weeks into the Zap course) I had a lot more confidence and greatly reduced stress. Even my husband has noticed the difference,” she smiles.

Vicki says her ability to manage her stress has also changed. “This is partly because my self confidence has increased,” she says, “and partly because I now focus on my achievements – on the things I have done, rather than the things I haven’t done. Reducing my ANTs has also helped. I have a greater believe that positive things will happen… reducing my prior worry. Perhaps this is also due to seeing things for what they are, appreciating what I have already accomplished, and the belief that there is more good to come.”

“I certainly have taken a leap forward,” she concludes. “My increased self knowledge and personal growth will enable me to take my next ‘leap’ into becoming a woman who co-owns a successful business.”

Alexandra Tittus, Author

[Click twice to listen]

“I am internalizing the things this course has taught me. My new belief in myself and my abilities has boosted my self-worth to a new dimension.”

Alexandra Tittus, an early 40’s homemaker and mother of two, is a former English and Swedish high school teacher living in Gothenburg, Sweden. She is a university graduate with a Masters degree in English, and has also studied graphics and web design.

Seeking to “Find Herself”

Alexandra’s came into the Zap Challenge with a deeply heartfelt goal – she was seeking to “find herself.” But once she realized this could never be a measurable “goal,” she immediately became more focused and concrete.

She turned to an old uncompleted goal of writing a children’s book. But this was no ordinary goal, because Alexandra committed to completely write and illustrate the book during the Zap Reality Challenge.

The Changes Begin
Alexandra says she was “frustrated because I didn’t know what I wanted… (and) envious of those who knew.” Her original Zap Personal Traits Analysis score was 52%, indicating probable doubt about her own ability to achieve her true potential.

But during the course Alexandra’s self-esteem began to climb rapidly. And at the end of the course her Zap Personal Traits Analysis score had soared to 74%, indicating a huge increase in her self-esteem. “I feel the positive change is due to my realization I don’t have to depend on how others view me. I am who I want to be, and only I set the limits. I have also realized that there are no limits … and that almost blows my mind,” she smiles.

“My level of self-confidence has changed,” she adds. “In a way I feel invincible now. My new belief in myself and my abilities has boosted my self-worth to a new dimension. And mostly it’s thanks to my own doing, with the help of the Zap training.”

Her Goal Falls into Place
Alexandra did indeed achieve her goal in only 6 weeks. “I have become the person that goal belongs to,” she beams, “I have become a writer and an illustrator, and in the meantime I also found myself – the invincible, goal-achieving, non-stoppable me.”

“Thanks to the ZAP course I truly have become the person I want to be. My self-concept has improved because I achieved the goal I set out to achieve,” she says. “But mostly I think I’m internalizing the things this Zap course has taught me – I am unique, and that’s great, with everything that comes with it.”

Alexandra sums up her Zap experience with relish: “The ZAP coursework enabled me to take a quantum leap – Absolutely!! I have leapt from wondering what my purpose is and what I want to do with my life… to knowing what I want and realizing I actually am someone who is already doing much with my life. It is a realization that, combined with a lot of action, has literally transformed me. I have a purpose and a direction, and the knowledge that at any time I can make a correction and a redirection without it being a failure.”

Alexandra now has a new goal. “I am going to start a forum for women like me, who are very capable, but not sure what they want. In this forum we will discuss our dreams and set goals and support each other as we reach our goals. These discussions will be the material for a book I am going to finish in 12 months – Discussions from a Sofa.

Sharon L Horstead, Infopreneur

[Click twice to listen]

“Life is so different. Having a clearer picture of what matters to me lets me step more boldly in any direction I choose.”

Sharon L Horstead is a 40’s woman living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is an Infopreneur with one year of university education, and many special trainings focused on the work of Louise Hay. She has also completed Facilitator Development training, and has been active in Toastmasters International for 10 years.

The Evolution of Her Goal
Sharon’s original goal was to create a business plan for an environmentally sustainable community in Panama. But her goal changed dramatically during the course – an often common occurrence as people become clearer about what they truly want. “I discovered it was something I was very excited about… but as I committed to it, I found it was conflicting with other things I was much more passionate about,” she recalls.

“But by committing to take action on it, I quickly came to the realization that something wasn't right about it for me. I could have spent many weeks or months just daydreaming about this goal and having it as a distraction. By focusing on doing something about it, I soon realized that it wasn't right for me, and I didn't have to waste any more time on it.”

Sharon then changed her goal to something she had a passionate commitment to – raising donations for a specific charity dedicated to helping children. “I am using the Zap principles and am making great headway,” Sharon says. “The discipline of daily focus is becoming a habit that I can rely on. I do believe I am becoming the person my dreams belong to.”

Sharon’s Initial Challenge
Sharon remembers her childhood as being somewhat challenging. “My parents divorced when I was 11.” And a result she says, “I've always found it easier to just handle things on my own, and relationships have posed a challenge because I am so independent.”

Her original Zap Personal Traits Analysis score was 62%, indicating her initial doubt about her ability to achieve her full potential.

Her Process
Her initial score of ‘5’ on the Zap Worry Scale has been reduced to a very healthy ‘3.’  “I (now) find that as I take ‘immediate, extreme action,’ I have less time to worry about things. I find that life flows more easily and things come my way in surprising twists and turns. As I get more accomplished, I feel happier and don't have the nagging feeling of unfinished business weighing me down.”

“My self-discipline has also changed,” she continues. “I have begun to really enjoy the feeling of freedom I get from just getting on with things and moving forward. I am cutting out things that don't really fit with my dreams, and taking more time doing the things I love to do.

Sharon’s final Zap Personal Traits Analysis score of 80% is solidly in the range of one living to their full potential. “I feel the change is due to learning how to focus,” she says. “Learning that one ability changed many aspects of my being… including feeling well-balanced, relaxed and calm, and purposeful.”

Barriers Fall Away
“I feel my self-concept has improved because I am getting more things done more quickly,” Sharon says. “By addressing my ANTs (Automatic negative Thoughts) I am more confident and happy. Having a clearer picture of what matters to me lets me step more boldly in any direction I choose,” she adds. “And I now see more clearly than ever the value of working in partnership (and) I'm finally ready for true partnership in business and romance. I feel like I've removed the last barriers to finding true love at last.”

“I see the progress I am making, the lasting changes that I am finally making in my life, and I am very proud of myself. The quantum leaps I have taken are directly relatable to the Zap Course principles,” Sharon says. “One of the things that has been key to my success is the principle of ‘burning the ships.’ I am really getting into high gear to achieve my financial and business goals. I have no more escape routes.”

“The ‘Zap Your Life’ book and experience are so full of practical knowledge, advice and strategies,” Sharon stresses, “that if you follow along and stick with it, you can't help but succeed in a quantum way. It has helped me build up momentum to make the kinds of changes I needed to make in my life. My reality has been ‘zapped’ and life is so different.”

Radek Hanus, Realtor

“I am more self confident, and know I have the power to create my life.”

Radek Hanus, a 33-year-old man living in the Prague, Czech Republic, is a professional real estate agent with a law degree.

Radek’s Goal
Radek’s initial Zap Reality Challenge goal was very positive, but too indefinite to be called a goal. to achieve perfect health,” His goal quickly became more concrete and measurable, and became one of gaining 5 kilos.

His Results
Radek recalls his childhood as having often been challenging, but applied the Zap techniques to literally change the meaning of his unpleasant childhood memories. “I was able to overcome my memories of my often challenging childhood by reminding myself that I have already survived it, and it has empowered me,” he says. “It is past and I don‘t need to recreate it in the present.”

Radek only scored 50% on his initial Zap Personal Traits Analysis, indicating a large gap between his “ideal self” vs. his perceived “actual self.” But his post-course score soared to 80% – solidly in the range of living to his full potential. “I feel the change is due to no longer being so critical of myself,” he explains, “and my self-concept has also improved.”

“I previously tended to worry and have ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts) and negative emotions,” Radek explains. “My original score on the Zap Worry Scale was “5” (10 = highest amount of worry). But my new score has been reduced to 3. I now tend to worry less because I am more focused in the present moment.”

Radek also reports that his self discipline has also improved, and he is “definitely more self disciplined and more self confident, and know I have the power to create my life. I did not totally achieve my goal,” he explains, “but I am much closer to it. I feel I am becoming the person that goal belongs to. I now understand how to take a quantum leap, and feel I can do it by following the Zap blueprint.”

Patricia Moore, Machine Shop Owner

[Click twice to listen]

“I have learned a great deal about my own potential which I would not have done by myself.”

Patricia Moore is an unusual woman living in Applegate, California. Who owns an automotive machine shop. “I do everything in my business except the actual machine work,” she teases. She has an interesting university background that includes a BA in Oriental Languages, and a California multiple subject teaching credential.

A Surprising Goal

Patricia had a definite and clearly stated Zap Reality Challenge goal that was very remote from her business interests: She committed to write a children’s book and send it to a publisher by the end of the 6-week Zap Reality Challenge.

Her Results
Patricia recalls her childhood experience as fairly supportive. “My most difficult childhood memory is of my sister and her friends ditching me,” she recalls. “But now I see that this was when I learned that I needed to find my own friends.”

“My level of self-confidence seems to have changed… I think (because) my idea of confidence has changed. I have a clearer picture of what confidence looks like,” Patricia reflects, “so the confidence I felt in the past appears not to have been confidence at all.”

“My ability to manage my stress has also changed. When I focus on the positive in each moment, the stress goes away. I have learned a great deal about my own potential which I would not have done by myself.

Her Book is Completed
“I actually did finish my book within the time of the Zap course,” she beams, “but I still have to send it to a publisher. (So) I achieved 99% of my goal.”

But Patricia has yet another goal that was clarified during the course: “One year ago I set a goal to reach the perception of ‘love’ where I’m in love with everyone,” she says. “I have now seen how all minds are connected, and know that soon this state will come to me. It was while reading the last chapter in the Zap Your Life book that I came to this understanding.”

Edward Phillip, Entrepreneur

“My self-concept has improved because I am taking action and being more accountable.”

Edward (Ed) Philipp is a mid-life man living in Long Beach, California with a goal of living to a healthy100 years. His formal education includes a BA in Biology and a Masters of International Management. He also holds a California Life and Health Insurance License, and is certified in Long Term Care.

Ed’s Goal
Ed is transitioning professionally from financial services to functioning as an internet entrepreneur. His original Zap Reality Challenge goal was to “decide on a niche and build a profitable web-based business I am passionate about.” He wanted to grow his new business “to reach a point in one year where it’s possible to have the option to make it a full time career and income.”

But Ed came into the course feeling stuck. “That’s at least part of the reason I took the course,” he says. “I was ready to be unstuck, but did not know how at that time.” His goal became to get “unstuck” and discover a promising niche for his new business.

Very quickly he connected with his natural interests and talents, and Ed’s goal became “building a teleseminar business and partnering with an author to take her book and training to the internet using teleseminars.”

His Process

Ed’s initial Zap Personal Traits Analysis score was only 62%, indicating a considerable gap between his “ideal self” – and what he believed to be his “true self.” But his post-course score soared to 91.5% – a truly remarkable improvement. “I feel this change is due to overcoming the feeling of being stuck I had when I started the ZAP Challenge. The course and my ‘Zap responsibility partner’ helped me start to take action. It was an unexpected,” he recalls. “I did ‘burn my ships’ and move in an entirely new direction.”

“I do not tend to worry excessively. However since my trend of activity is now in the right direction, I have even less time to worry. I feel my self-concept has improved because I am taking action and being more accountable. I feel I have become (or are becoming) the person my goal belongs to,” Ed says. “The ZAP experience enabled me to take a good leap forward … instead of being stuck I am back to being a self-starter.”

Margaret Ruck, Teacher

[Click twice to listen]

“I now do things more spontaneously, following my intuition without analyzing too long.”

Margaret Ruck is an unusual high school physics teacher living in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. She came into the Zap Challenge at the end of a year-long deferred salary leave, and just before a previously-planned trip to California to learn to be a race horse exercise rider.

A Goal to Become Race Horse Exerciser
“When I heard about the Zap Reality Challenge I wanted to participate in it,” Margaret recalls. “I am interested in the science aspect of how the mind works. I chose a Zap goal of galloping a race horse around a track, as six weeks would not be long enough for me to actually become an exercise rider. I was somewhat confident that I could do it, although not sure that my knees would be able to handle it.”

On the Track…
When she arrived in California Margaret says she was very glad she was taking the Zap training. “It turned out to be more difficult than I thought it would be,” she reveals. “The horse I was riding seemed to me to be well-behaved, but I was warned that he sometimes bucked people off.”

“I hadn’t been too afraid until I heard this,” she says,” but participating in the Zap course helped me to not be afraid. The first time I galloped, the horse behaved just fine. (Then) a week after my first gallop he did take off and buck, but I was able to handle it.”

“I feel that I have become the person my goal belongs to. My ability to handle stress has also improved,” she says, “and I am quite calm in situations I would have found stressful in the past. I also lost a little bit of weight during the challenge, and am now small enough to be a jockey.”

“My self-discipline has also changed,” Margaret says. “I am in a much more ‘get things done’ mood, and don’t procrastinate as much … and I have more confidence in my ability to follow my dreams and get things done. The ZAP coursework enabled me to take a quantum leap. I now do things more spontaneously, following my intuition without analyzing too long,” Margaret adds.

Reinette van den Berg, Consultant

[Click twice to listen]

“I now walk taller physically as well as mentally, and see opportunities instead of problems.”

Reinette van den Berg is a woman in her early sixties from South Africa now living in Friendswood, Texas. She holds a National Teacher’s Diploma in Home Economics, and also has experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Skin Care Specialist, and a Certified Mind Power Coach.

Her Goal
Reinette’s goal was a very ambitious one – to have her own home-based business as a Legal Funding Consultant.

She Tackles Her Challenges
Reinette's initial Zap Personal Traits Analysis score was 54%, indicating she was initially probably overly critical of her own potential. However her score after the Zap Reality Challenge training soared to a very healthy 78%. Reinette says the change happened because “through the Zap training I developed more passion and focus, enabling me to become more friendly, supportive and understanding of other people and their needs.”

Reinette describes her childhood experiences as somewhat challenging. But even this proved manageable during the Zap Challenge: “I have been able to turn this around by focusing on myself and my goals without the fear of disappointing someone else,” she explains. “I previously tended to worry, and most of the things I worried about were past experiences that kept me from taking action. I’ve now learned to let the past stay in the past where it belongs.”

“My self-confidence has also changed,” she explains. “I am able to talk more often to strangers and make friends with them. And things just do not upset me like they did before. I can separate myself from the little things in life that are not that important (and) think through an obstacle without getting involved in it… thus the stress is not there anymore.”

Her Final Outcome
“Have I taken a quantum leap,” she laughs. “Yes! I walk taller physically as well as mentally, and see opportunities instead of problems. I feel more relaxed, open and free from stress. I can be myself, and not whom others think I should be. I can accomplish the goals I set for myself and take responsibility for my actions.”

“I have grown so much my friends want to know why I’m so different,” she explains. “I am now an eagle soaring the skies.” http://www.geocities.com/stoepsie/Myfundingpage.html

Ine van den Heuvel, Business Owner

“This had a huge impact for me. What seemed like a huge task is now much smaller and easy to achieve.”

Ine van den Heuvel is an early 40’s woman living in Havelock North, New Zealand.
Her formal education ended with high school, but Ine then followed her entrepreneurial-heart into success-related courses like the Dale Carnegie Entrepreneur Success Programme. She is today the owner of a successful commercial interior design and “fit out” company that designs, manufactures, and installs unique retail and hospitality environments throughout New Zealand.

Ine’s Goal Creation Process
“When I first had to choose my Zap Reality Challenge goal I wasn't sure what to do,” Ine recalls. “I really had two goals: One to increase my existing business, and the other to hire two new employees so I could delegate more of my work.”

She choose the first goal, and midway through the Zap challenge she had achieved half of the goal. “But that was going to happen regardless of my participation in the Zap Challenge,” Ine recalls. “That’s when Dr Jill suggested that my true goal was to become the person who had more time to take on the tasks I assumed I needed new employees to do.”

“That was such an eye opener,” Ine says. “I have always focused on creating positions so I don't have to do the work anymore, yet always ended up doing the work anyway. This had a huge impact for me.”

So she created a new goal – to treat the new position she wanted to fill as if someone else would actually apply for the job, but then interviewed herself for the position. “Was I the person I would hire for this position,” she asked herself. “Not really!” was the answer. “So what do I need to change in myself to become that person,” she then asked.

She Embraces Change
“My Zap worry scale was initially rather high at ‘7.5’ on the scale of from 1 to 10,” she explains, “but it is now only ‘3.’ This decrease has been a big one. I thought before I worried because of circumstances, but I now know it’s more a state of mind, and I now feel no need to worry. But,” she explains, “I am also doing brainwave training in the HotBrainztm Millionaire Mind Power program, which has added a sense of calm and ease to my life.”

“I achieved my goal,” she laughs. “I hired only one new person, and the second person was myself.” The decision proved perfect.

An Additional Goal Unfolds
Once Ine decided she was the person to fill the second position, it seemed to open a floodgate of ideas… and the creation of a new goal “to create a new business marketing and managing other peoples’ self realization businesses.”

“I now have so much crystal clear mental focus and creativity,” Ine shares. “I did a brainstorm for a name for my new goal and quickly came up with a perfect name. Then I woke up the next morning with a logo in my head. Before I had opened my eyes, I could see it. My new clients are coming to me automatically, it’s all so exciting. What seemed like a huge task is now much smaller and easy to achieve. Before I wouldn't even start it because I thought it was too much work or I didn't have the time.”

Ine’s Final Outcome
“My self confidence has improved. I am now more confident and excited. I can't wait for all my dreams to come true, for they are already on the way,” she beams. “I have become the person my goal belongs to!”

“The ZAP experience has enabled me to take a quantum leap. I became the person my goal belongs to, and have the confidence to take action. A large part of my quantum leap is also due to the brainwave training. It gives me so much clarity and I also find it a pleasure to do.”

Korey Wood, Contractor

[Click twice to listen]

“I am now taking actions I never thought were possible prior to the Zap challenge.”

Korey Wood is a 41 year-old man living in Cloquet, Minnesota. He works as a General Contractor, and is also an Auto Technician with a solid 20 years of experience. His formal education includes 2 years of Auto Technician Vocational School, and he is also a Senior Graduate of the Landmark Forum – a program for those interested in personal change.

Korey’s Goal

Korey’s original goal was really a double goal connected to having his own Hotrod Shop and being a resource for positive change for others.

He wrestled with that goal for a while, then put out news of his plans to open a hot rod shop, and instantly received offers of financing. This caught him by surprise, and catapulted him into a more serious thought process.

His goal changed to ”having a facility and an environment that would support me financially so I could be free to build hotrods to my heart’s content,” Korey explains. “I invented other businesses within my original goal to support me and others far beyond my original scope.”

His Process
Korey’s original score on the Zap Personal Traits Exercise was only 25%, an indication of a huge gap between his ideal self, and what he considered his actual self. But his score at the end of the Zap course was a remarkably improved 65%. “I feel the improvement is due to now viewing myself from a completely new and objective context,” he explains.

He recalls his childhood as often challenging, but has now been able to turn this around by “turning old excuses into tools I now use to empower myself. The new positive belief I have installed is that ANY childhood experience can be put into the context of a habit, then turned into a tool to reinvent myself at any given moment.”

His original Zap Self-Concept scale was ‘3’ on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest), but his post-course score was ‘7’ – again a remarkable change.  “My self-concept has improved because now I can look at myself from a perspective of myself today, and not a 5-year-old perspective of someone else’s interpretation of me,” Korey says.

“I used to worry and have ANTs" (Automatic Negative Thoughts), Korey recalls. “My tendency to worry was originally ‘7’ (10=highest amount of worry). But my new score is ‘2’. I formerly worried that I could never have what I wanted because of circumstances. I now realize I just had a habit of disempowering myself because I chose to worry, instead of dragging my worry out into the daylight and exposing it for what it was. If a worry is present I know it is just an old habit that I don’t need any longer.”

I previously also thought I needed someone else’s approval of what I was doing, or who I was being, before I could be confident,” he says. “Now confidence is a self-generated gift that I give myself automatically. My self-discipline has changed. I can now choose discipline for myself rather than waiting to be disciplined by others.”

“Stress was also a habit,” the committed hot-rod lover laughs. “It came from not choosing what I wanted, and then suffering for that choice. Now if I am stressed I just quit doing what I was doing and re-choose what I want now. Stress is now a myth.”

“Although I did not reach my goal within the time period of the Zap challenge,” Korey reveals, “I know in my heart that it will happen within the next thirty days. I AM the person this goal now belongs to.”

“A quantum leap? Yes, I am now taking actions I never thought were possible prior to the Zap challenge. Doing the homework enabled me to see who I am and what is now possible… and the opportunity to participate in my own life in the way I always dreamed.”

Susan Rosenstein, Investor and Musician

“The Zap materials are well presented…interesting, entertaining, and very easy to understand.”

Susan Rosenstein is a 50’s woman living in Los Angeles, California. In addition to her passion for music (she’s a professional conductor, pianist and organist), she is also a real estate investor. Susan’s formal education includes a BA in Music and a Master of Fine Arts in Organ Performance.

Susan came into the Zap Reality Challenge initially feeling she was somehow “stuck” in her real estate investment business. “My self-discipline has now improved,” she reveals. “I am working on more ‘deals’ and asking better questions in order to figure out better actions to take.”

“Dr. Jill has some awesome materials and has really “nailed it” with regard to how the mind works.  The Zap materials are well presented in a way which is interesting, entertaining, and very easy to understand,” Susan concludes.

Germán Rodríguez, IT Professional

[Click twice to listen]

“My self-concept has improved because I now understand that my old beliefs do not belong to who I am now.”

Germán de dios Rodríguez is a 40-year-old man living in The Netherlands. A university graduate, he works as a highly skilled Information Technology professional.

Germán’s original Zap Reality Challenge self-concept score was a healthy ‘7,’ and increased to a very high ‘8.5’ at the end of the course. “My self-concept has improved because I now understand that my old beliefs do not belong to who I am today,” he explains. “My childhood was often challenging, but I have been able to turn this around by becoming aware that I live in the present, and have survived all types of challenges. I live in the present now… and then was then.”

“I previously tended to worry and have ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts) or negative emotions,” he recalls, “and my initial score on the Zap worry scale was a rather high ‘7.’ My new score after the course fell to ‘4.’ I now realize that worrying is negative goal setting, and never a solution.”

“Plus, he adds, “my ability to manage my stress has changed. Stress is a reaction based on your thoughts about situations. This course makes you successfully aware of the difference between reacting and responding. And I am working on my self-discipline, as I have noticed that self-discipline is a key factor for success.”

“My original goal was more of a wish, but I created a more realistic goal. My goal is fully in progress and I have accomplished more than I was aiming for,” Germán reveals. “I am now fully confident I will succeed.”

I AM becoming the person of my dreams.”
